This Privacy Policy explains how Alwa Team ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Boomerang mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: when you sign up, we collect your email address, username, and any profile details you provide (such as nickname, photo, gender, birthday, and contact details).
Content you create: videos, comments, likes, follows, and other content you post or interact with in the App.
Camera, microphone, and photo library: with your permission, we access your camera and microphone to record videos, and your photo library to select or save videos. This media is only used to create and share content you choose to post.
Device & usage data: device identifiers, app version, and basic usage information used to operate and improve the App.
Push notification tokens: to deliver notifications about activity relevant to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and profile.
To enable core features: posting videos, following users, liking, and commenting.
To send push notifications about follows, likes, comments, and other activity.
To maintain safety, prevent abuse, and enforce our community guidelines.
To operate, maintain, and improve the App.

3. How We Store and Share Information

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Messaging), provided by Google LLC. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the App, or when required by law.

4. Public Content

Content you post (such as videos, your username, and comments) may be visible to other users of the App. Please be mindful of what you choose to share publicly.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data and associated content, subject to any legal retention requirements.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
